Truamatised

today i went to watch the firework display @ marina bay... u might be surprise why i used 'traumatised' as the title... u can nv imagine wat happen just now... it's the end of the fireworks display... and everyone is trying to get of of the place. But since we are nt suppose to drive there, we can only take the public transport by bus 400. suddenly, it's so chaotic and everyone tried to squeeze up the bus. it's nt as if it's end of the world and it's the last bus or smt. it's exactly like the scene in War of the worlds. There's pushing all around, when the bus finally came. I noe that everyone is getting impatient, but there's no need for them to push around! i saw little children being squeeze... so pathetic! i guess if i were them, i'll be suffocated. Then the commando shouted to stop pushing, everyone froze for a moment. it's only then i realised the ugly side of man. They never give a thought to others and some even made sarcastic comment. Does it mean that only well-fit, able-bodied man can participate and celebrate with the nation? This is the spirit of Singaporean. Utterly disappointed. Especially for the organisation, they shld have anticipate this situation and managed it in a orderly manner... today's situation, everyone is like running for their lives. Therefore, the origin of the title - traumatised.
By the way... the fireworks were very nice! but even b4 it started, there's a blackout... lolx... there's suppose to have sound to accompany the firework display. but the power supply is cut off... all of a sudden, it turns dark and silent... but the firework still continued as usual. see if i can upload it up...cya
